LIFT Team Details

CLEAN CATOOSA – A county-wide Earth Day initiative to celebrate and contribute to the beauty of our environment. LIFT is honored to bring the City of Ringgold and Fort Oglethorpe, Catoosa County Government and Catoosa County Chamber of Commerce members together with area non-profits and passionate citizens to join forces for a day of beautification projects!
Our FIFTH Annual Clean Catoosa Work Projects will be held across Catoosa County from 9 AM to 12 PM on
Earth Day: Saturday, April 22, 2023. 

PROJECT:

Leaders will assign students into groups based on the number needed for each area of clean up/beautification. LIFT will have 6 different projects to complete around the City of Ringgold. 

LIFT Staff and Adult Volunteers will help coordinate the various projects which will include trash pick-up, landscaping, and installation of a new Little Free Library. See you at 9:00 AM at LIFT (Claudia Nance Rollins Youth Center). All groups will start at the Center and end at the Center. 

WHAT TO WEAR/BRING:

  • Please wear closed-toed shoes.
  • We’ll provide plastic gloves and safety vests WHICH MUST BE worn.
  • If you need any emergency meds (inhalers, EpiPens for allergic reactions, etc.) please have them on your person.
  • Bring a water bottle and consider wearing a hat or sunscreen.

FAMILIES:

Please complete this form for EACH member of your family who will be participating, adult or student. Parents are welcome to help that morning. Thanks for doing your part to help us coordinate this event well and keeping everyone as safe as possible.

EVENT T-SHIRTS:

Deadline for t-shirts is March 31.
If your response is submitted past this date, you MAY not receive a t-shirt. Very limited number of extra shirts will be available – first come, first served.

RAIN DATE NOTICE: if needed, we will reschedule, and you will be notified.
